Haamilaat-ul-Quran

Dr Hussein B. Peerbaye holds a Ph.D in Comparative Fiqh, a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, a PGD in Islamic Banking & Finance, and a BA from the faculty of hadith (KSA). Currently serving as the official Imam at Bait ul Noor Mosque, he leads the five daily prayers, delivers short talks, and delivers the Friday sermon. Dr Peerbaye is also the supervisor of Madrassah Haamilaat-il-Quran, overseeing both online and onsite branches.

He actively engages with the community through a platform called ‘Fatwa Series’ on Facebook and YouTube, where he addresses queries and issues related to Islam in the form of Q&A. Additionally, Dr Peerbaye is the founder of the Eemaan Foundation.

Our teachers are exceptionally qualified, having memorised the entire Quran by heart. They possess extensive teaching experience with both children and adults, delivering lessons through both online and onsite platforms. The performance of our teachers has garnered full satisfaction from parents.

Madrassah Haamilaat-il-Quran was established in July 2019, initially offering face-to-face sessions. Subsequently, we extended its reach through an online platform, catering to both local and international students. Additionally, ladies’ sessions are conducted twice a week at Masjid Bait-ul-Noor (Vallee des Pretres) and once a week at Masjid Baitur Rahman (Coromandel), all concurrently.

Our online platform includes students primarily from Canada, France, the UK, Reunion Island, as well as various parts of Mauritius, spanning across the entire island. Currently, the Madrassah’s temporary base is at Bait-ul-Noor Mosque.
